The Materials Delivery Technician facilitates timely deliveries of paperwork, inter-office mail, equipment, patient specimens, supplies and other items as needed throughout Confluence Health. This position requires an individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Position Reports To: Transportation and Fleet Supervisor

1. Responds to requests and redistributes items throughout the facility, including off-site campuses in a timely, quality and friendly manner.

2. Operates Company delivery vehicle.

3. Load, unload, and prepare delivery vehicle with cargo.

4. Ensuring proper delivery paperwork and records are completed.

5. Answer phone calls when necessary, responding to needs in a timely manner.

6. Maintain a clean vehicle and complete appropriate safety and inspection records.

7. Follows DOT regulations and safety standards.

8. Works with hand trucks and other transport vehicles.

9. Complete a Daily vehicle pre/post Check List.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid WA State driver’s License with no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.

Desired:

• Ability to promote a positive image on behalf of the Supply Chain Management department.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.

O = Occasional, represents 1 to 25% or up to 30 minutes in a 2 hour workday.
F = Frequent, represents 26 to 50% or up to 1 hour of a 2 hour workday.
C = Continuous, represents 51% to 100% or up to 2 hours of a 2 hour workday.
