Job DetailsJob Location: Rancho Community Church and School - Temecula, CA 92592Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $23.00 - $24.00 HourlyJob Shift: Any Job Description: Van Driver   Title: Van Driver Supervisor: Transportation Supervisor Classification: Non-exempt Description:  A Van Driver performs the task of safely transporting students, faculty, staff and school representatives to and from school functions/events.  Responsibilities: Operate the school van in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including Rancho Christian School’s Van Policy Perform daily safety and maintenance checks Maintain order and discipline within van while driving Work in conjunction with coach/teacher/supervising staff member to verify passenger attendance to and from each destination Ensure passengers are aware of rules and responsibilities Be on time to and from events, transporting on schedule Clean out van and ensure it is safely and securely stored Advise Maintenance team of any necessary maintenance or repairs   Other Expectations: Maintain vehicle logs as needs Actively and collaboratively participate as a member of the staff team Act quickly and exercise independent, mature judgment Perform other duties as assigned   Physical Expectations:   Definitions: N (Not Applicable) Activity is not applicable to this position O (Occasionally) Occupation requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 to 3 hrs/day) F (Frequently) Occupation requires this activity from 33%-66% of the time (3+ to 6 hrs/day) C (Constantly) Occupation requires this activity more than 66% of the time (6+ to 8 hrs/day)Qualifications  Spiritual Qualifications:  Demonstrates a passion for Christ and his Kingdom through personal spiritual discipline and public ministry.  Seeks to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability and service to his Kingdom.  Professional Qualifications: Possess a class c driver's license Possess a Youth bus permit Possess a clean driving record Present official driving record report from DMV Demonstrates proficient knowledge of road and school van regulations Demonstrates effective verbal, listening and communications skills Demonstrates efficient time management skills  Previous experience preferred Maintain CPR/First Aid/AED certification Negative TB screening performed within last 4 years
