Optiforms, located in Temecula, CA is a leading manufacturer of custom metal components and enhanced surface finishes for high precision applications. We specialize in electroformed and CNC machined components, as well as electrodeposited platings and vacuum deposition coatings. We serve various industries such as aerospace and defense, medical, UV and semiconductor, searchlights and industrial.

We are seeking a skilled Electroforming Technician to join our team. Under the general direction of the Electroforming Supervisor the Electroforming Technician maintains production flow of bare nickel electroformed products through the overall manufacturing process.

Schedule:4/10 - Tuesday-Friday

                 1st shift: 6am - 4:30pm

Job Duties:

  • Basic Parts Pulling.
  • Basic Reflector Sanding.
  • Basic Reflector Processing/De-burring.
  • Basic Reflector Drilling.
  • Basic Reflector Buffing.
  • Reflector Washing/Detailing.
  • Basic Reflector Bonding.
  • Spinning Drilling/Modification.
  • Reflector Mechanical Assembly.
  • Understanding of processing procedures and acceptance criteria for each process to maintain product quality.
  • Maintain the condition and organization of tools used to perform duties.
  • Adhere to shift schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.

After initial training period:

  • Precision Parts Pulling (2289-01/2295-03)
  • Precision Reflector Sanding (2289-01/2295-03)
  • Precision Reflector Processing/De-burring (2289-01/1st Articles)
  • Precision Reflector Drilling (S4638-0402/2280-0301)
  • Precision Reflector Buffing (2289-01/2157)
  • Ability to reference basic measurements on a mechanical drawing (Height, ID, OD, CA, +/- tolerances)
  • Use and understanding of basic measuring tools (calipers, height gauge, micrometers, scale)
  • Adhere to shift schedule

Other duties as assigned
