Job DetailsJob Location: Rancho Community Church and School - Temecula, CA 92592Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 HourlyDescription: A substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction, promoting student progress and managing the classroom environment in the absence of the full time classroom teacher. Other Expectations: Actively and collaboratively participate as a member of the school faculty when present Keep phone and email communications responsive Perform all other duties as assigned QualificationsSpiritual Qualifications: Demonstrates a passion for Christ and his Kingdom through personal spiritual discipline and public ministry. Seeks to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability and service to his Kingdom. Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Ability to comply with both written and oral instructions Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills Self-motivated Obtain certificate of negative result for TB screening prior to hire Cleared live scan background check Areas of Expected Proficiencies: Maintain classroom control that fosters a safe, positive environment for all students and staff in accordance with school, state and all applicable laws and regulations Implement existing lesson plans provided, if provided; Collaborate with principal and grade level teachers to determine lesson plan, if not available Demonstrate professional practices in teaching in alignment with Rancho guidelines and policies
