Summary :

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provides a variety of hair care services to meet the needs of the patients and residents.

• Interacts in a professional and positive manner with customers and others in the community while in the salon or transporting of residents throughout the building to cultivate a positive customer experience.

• Maintains appointment schedules by coordinating with residents and other disciplines in the facility.

• Accurately documents services provided, payments collected, and charges added on to patient accounts to ensure accurate billing and fiscal responsibility.

• Maintains supplies by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt to ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Must be 18 years of age

• Two years of experience as a hair stylist

• Current Cosmetology Operators License for the State of Wisconsin

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance

• Standing for more than 30 minutes at a time

• Pinching and /or grasping more than 5 seconds at a time throughout the day

• Reaching up to 1 minutes of time throughout the day

• Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Normally works in climate controlled office environment

• Frequent sanding with movement throughout office space
