What You’ll Do
- Perform field testing and inspection activities at construction sites, including soil density testing, compaction testing, and evaluation of soil conditions for foundations
- Document field observations and test results by preparing, tabulating, and submitting detailed daily technical reports for project managers, engineers, and clients
- Maintain, clean, and calibrate field and laboratory equipment, including nuclear density gauges, to ensure accurate and reliable testing
- Work closely with project teams to support construction quality and compliance with project specifications
What You’ll Bring
- Certifications in soil and concrete testing (ACI, ICC, or state‑specific certifications preferred; Caltrans certifications a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data management tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project documentation
- Willingness and ability to work outdoors in physically demanding environments, including lifting 50+ pounds
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team‑oriented mindset
