Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off  

 

Job Description: L3Harris Technologies is seeking a candidate to analyze and improve sequences of manufacturing / operations and workflows to improve efficiencies pertaining to cost/schedule control, cost reduction, inventory control, and all phases of production record systems.  The candidate will assist with establishing methods for maximum utilization of production processes through improvement initiatives.   

  

Essential Functions:    

  • Provides continuous improvement support to manufacturing operations and related functional areas 

  • Lead and support improvement efforts directed towards workflow, work sequencing, work area layout, and standardized work 

  • Monitor and development improvement efforts to ensure safe and efficient utilization of time, personnel, material, equipment, and capital resources 

 

Qualifications 

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences, Finance or related field or have completed their bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
