Job DetailsJob Location: Main Plant - Tempe, AZ 85282Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $24.00 - $28.00 HourlyJob Shift: DAY - 6:00am-3:00pmQUALIFICATIONS: Skills & Abilities: 路 Electrical work includes troubleshooting, testing, replacing of equipment, outlets, switches, lights, and ballast. 路 Flooring repairs. Grouting Sealing and replacement of various types of flooring. Dairy Brick, Concrete, Caster Coated, and varying types of other flooring. 路 General carpentry and framing 路 General Plumbing knowledge installs and repairs. Toilets, sinks, and drains. 路 Roof repairs. TPO, Metal Deck, Foam, etc. 路 Moving or Installation of furniture, fixtures, equipment. 路 Caulking/sealing of various horizontal and vertical surfaces. Wall joints, crevices, alcoves, exterior to interior penetrations. 路 Drywall/plaster repair and painting. 路 Ability to operate equipment including a forklift, and various lifts. 路 Must be able to work 8 hour shifts. 路 Requires ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions in English. Experience: 路 2-4 years of experience in skilled building trades 路 An equivalent combination of training and experience may be used to meet the minimum qualifications. Education/Certifications: 路 High School Diploma or Educational Equivalent. 聽 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 路 Requires ability to walk and stand for 8 or more hours at a time. 路 Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift, climb ladders, stairs of various heights and carry items in excess of 55 pounds. 路 Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items often including items up to 55lbs. 路 Requires ability to push and pull items frequently including items 150lbs. 路 Requires ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights including floors of 100ft or more. 路 Requires ability to hear and speak and frequently hear and speak in very noisy environments. 路 Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures and conditions. 路 Requires ability to work in confined spaces frequently. 路 Requires the ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings. 路 Requires ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals. 路 Requires ability to walk entire facility multiple times for each shift. 路 Ability to drive and operate a forklift and like equipment. 聽 TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: None Minimal Moderate High 聽 PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 路 Be organized and able to work independently to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. 路 Make decisions based on general mechanical and electrical principles with minimal guidance and supervision. 路 Coordinate with other team members, contractors, or vendors when necessary for specialized repairs or projects. 路 Fix or replace faulty components, parts, or systems to restore functionality and prevent further damage. 路 Be able to comprehend and utilize technical prints, schematics, and diagrams. 路 Perform routine preventative maintenance on various buildings 路 Enter operation and maintenance data into logs, reports and computer databases. 路 Respond to Department calls and emergency call-ins 路 Adhere to all municipal, state and federal regulatory compliance, reporting any nonconformity. 路 Adhere to all SOP鈥檚 and HACCP guidelines. 路 Adhere to all UDA quality, safety, and GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity 路 Other duties as required. 路 Maintaining a clean and organized work area/s.
