Job DetailsJob Location: Main Plant - Tempe, AZ 85282Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DAY (12hr) - 6:00am-6:00pmJob Category: Warehouse  FORKLIFT OPERATOR PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  •    Operate sitting forklift and distribute products throughout plant and warehouse  •    Perform routine and repetitive tasks to maintain product inventory •    Keep accurate and legible records. •    Support plant forklift duties, as needed. •    Adhere to all SOP’s and HACCP guidelines. •    Adhere to all UDA quality, safety, and GMP policies, procedures, reporting any nonconformity. FORKLIFT OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONS: Skills & Abilities:  •    Knowledge of inventory and forklift practices. •    Ability to operate a sitting forklift and track inventory.  •    Perform repetitive tasks and functions throughout the day in an urgent, but safe, manner. •    Ability to work within changing deadlines. •    Must be able to work 12 hour shifts. •    Must be able to be on call. •    Requires ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). •    Ability to multitask. Experience:  •    Previous experience operating a sitting forklift  •    Inventory management Education/Certifications:  •    High School Diploma or Educational Equivalent PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:   •    Requires ability to safely operate equipment. •    Requires ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings. •    Requires ability to hear and speak.  •    Requires ability to walk and stand for 12 or more hours at a time. •    Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items in excess of 50lbs often. •    Requires ability to push and pull items frequently in excess of 50lbs.  •    Requires ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights including floors of 100ft or more. •    Requires ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings. •    Requires ability to hear and speak and frequently hear and speak in very noisy environments. •    Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures and conditions. •    Requires ability to work in confined spaces frequently.  •    Requires ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals.
