PCRK Group, a proud owner and operator of 131 Massage Envy locations across multiple states, is seeking a driven Human Resources Manager (People Operations) to join our team. This role is based in Tempe, Arizona, with a hybrid work schedule (Tuesdays through Thursdays in-office).Â
The Human Resources Manager (People Operations) plays a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, leading and directing core HR functions including employee relations, performance management and policy compliance. This role partners closely with leadership to foster a people-centered culture while ensuring best practices and organizational excellence across PCRK.Â
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the leadership team to execute the PCRK’s human resource and talent strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planningÂ
- Collaborate with VP, People Operations to resolve employee relations issuesÂ
- Provide support and guidance to assigned HR staff, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as managing the FMLA process, providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminationsÂ
- Serve as a liaison between PCRK, brokers, and external benefit vendors, which may include health care, disability, and retirement plan providers; execute annual benefit open enrollment, communicate enrollment changes to insurance companies and to accounting for employee payroll deductions
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for all new employeesÂ
- Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and proceduresÂ
- Provide guidance and oversight for all PCRK legal issues related to both internal and external cases
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the PCRK attracts and retains top talentÂ
- Assist in the performance review process, guiding HRG’s through day-to-day coaching with leadersÂ
- Develop support staff learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employeesÂ
- Serve as legal liaison and single point of contact for all issues within PCRK. Track all legal issues and coordinate monthly updates for all stakeholders in coordination with VP, People Operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance; advise PCRK management on potential impact and needed actionsÂ
- Demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information
- Perform other related special projects and duties, as assigned
Requirements
- Knowledge of EEO, ADA, and related employment laws and guidelines, and human resource management conceptsÂ

Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in human resources management, counseling, or business administration with increasing supervisory responsibilitiesÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field; Master’s degree preferredÂ
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP highly desiredÂ
- Experience managing direct reportsÂ
- Advanced Microsoft Office suiteÂ
- Experience with CRM, HRIS, or related software required
