OSG is seeking a skilled Insert Mail Machine Operator to safely operate the inserter machine and ensure that all job tickets are completed accurately and meet quality standards. Â We currently have four shifts available Sunday to Tuesday night 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, Wednesday to Friday night 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, Monday - Wednesday 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, Thursday to Saturday 7:00 am to 7:30 pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow job tickets accurately
- Understand basic postal concepts and requirements
- Properly load and unload stock for each job
- Consistently demonstrate safe lifting techniques for materials
- Meet or exceed production quotas while accurately sorting products by first and third class
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook

- Ability to multi-task and operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Work Environment
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to vibration
- Moderate noise levels typical of a manufacturing environment
