The Lead Project Engineer will oversee medium-complexity projects with teams of 5-15 members and a budget of $5 million or more for New Product Development and related initiatives.
This position requires a strong technical leadership capability and will report directly to the Engineer Program Manager in the Mechanical Systems and Components division.
The role is based in Tempe, AZ and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Candidates are expected to have a background in automation, aerospace technologies, or related fields to tackle complex challenges effectively.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

The Lead Project Engineer will lead medium-complexity projects with typically medium-sized (5-15 members) teams and annual program/project cost budget ($5M plus) for New Product Development (NPD), New Product Introduction (NPI)/Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP), and/or In-Service Related (IRB) for Motion Control Systems (MCS) products including technical leadership for the program/project. The position will report to the Engineer Program Manager in the Mechanical Systems and Components division. The role will be located out of Tempe, AZ on a hybrid schedule.
