Job DetailsJob Location: Main Plant - Tempe, AZ 85282Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $35.00 - $40.00 HourlyJob Shift: DAY (12hr) - 6:00am-6:00pmJob Summary/Objective    The Maintenance Working Foreman role involves strategic planning, management, and execution of escalated maintenance tasks, spanning mechanical and electrical repairs across UDA plants and facilities. This entails overseeing a team of technicians, managing schedules, tasks, and projects, while also actively participating in safety efforts. The role necessitates expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration troubleshooting, as well as industrial pneumatic diagnostics and repairs. The Maintenance Working Foreman must efficiently prioritize tasks, develop effective diagnostic procedures, and ensure meticulous documentation in the CMMS system. Specialized skills in pump mechanics are essential, along with a commitment to upholding food safety and quality standards. This multifaceted role epitomizes technical proficiency, leadership, and operational diligence.    Primary Duties & Responsibilities:  The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:    Plan, manage, and direct escalated maintenance issues by performing preventive, reactive, and predictive mechanical and electrical repairs for all UDA plants, warehouses, and facilities  Track, log, and report all escalated maintenance issues to UDA leadership  Manage team of maintenance technicians including scheduling, shift coverage, assigning tasks, projects, mentoring, and corrective actions  Plan and direct the maintenance of all plant equipment with minimum cost and high reliability  Actively participate in plant safety efforts including conducting incident reports, mitigation of project risks, and technician safety   Regularly provide prompt and detailed technical guidance for a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration conditions   Perform a variety of industrial pneumatic diagnostics and repairs to valves, banks, and fittings  Perform various electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repairs including, but not limited to 3-phase motors, contactor relays, blown fuses, overload starters, VFD’s, motors, and PLC’s  Perform a variety of plumbing repairs to PVC, copper, and stainless-steel fittings  Manage multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize maintenance requests by level of impact   Develop effective procedure to diagnose, troubleshoot and validate quality solutions  Document, log, and report repairs into CMMS system and provide regular updates to maintenance team  Perform pump mechanical works and maintain and sustain pump programs  Maintain a clean and organized work area  Always maintain food successfully:  Expert knowledge and applied understanding of: Industrial electrical, pneumatic, boiler, refrigeration systems, motor, compressors, gearboxes, and pumps  Detail oriented with the ability to effectively diagnose, troubleshoot, and conduct complex repairs  Expert knowledge of equipment systems troubleshooting and repair  Make decisions based on general mechanical and electrical principals with minimal guidance and supervision   Proficient knowledge of lubrication principles and techniques including bearing types and usage  Prior experience conducting utility and HVAC/R maintenance and repairs  Ability to manage equipment orders, shipments, and inventory within department budget  Ability to comprehend and utilize technical prints, schematics, and diagrams  Ability to operate equipment including a forklift, and various lifts  Player-coach leadership mentality with the ability to be hands-on while also managing a team  Basic typing skills and familiarity with computer programs such as a CMMS or EAM   Ability to work rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, and be on-call     Experience: (required)   7+ years of industrial maintenance experience  At least 1 year of experience in a lead, supervisor, management, or leadership role    Experience: (preferred)  General knowledge of food and beverage industry preferred             Education/Certifications: (if
