A Typical Workday
Your day as a PRN Occupational Therapist is structured around focused client touchpoints and precise follow-through. You’ll review your scheduled visits, confirm key priorities for each client, and plan how to use session time effectively. Between visits, you’ll update notes, track goal progress, and ensure documentation is complete so the care team has a clear picture of status and next steps. You’ll also connect with clinicians and office staff as needed to clarify orders, align on timing, and keep the plan of care moving smoothly. The day ends with a final check that records are submitted, questions are resolved, and you’re ready for the next assignment.
