Program Manager, Global Advancement
The Program Manager, Global Advancement is a key member of the Foundation Initiatives team and works as a strategic partner with the Chief Global Advancement Officer of the ASU Foundation. Responsibilities are focused on driving operational excellence, leading day to day workflow management, while ensuring alignment across global and regional teams, central support functions and senior leadership. The role plays a critical part in translating strategy into execution - supporting high-impact initiatives aimed at advancing ASU through leveraging philanthropic resources and activating our global and regional donor pipeline.
Success in this position requires strong project management, executive-level communication, and the ability to proactively anticipate needs, connect efforts across teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
What you’ll do:Â
Drive end-to-end project management in partnership with the Chief Global Advancement Officer, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities, clear timelines, accountability, and timely execution across a complex portfolio of initiatives.
Proactively anticipate leadership needs, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities in advance of meetings, deadlines, and key engagements.
Support planning and execution of high-level engagements, including executive visits, donor meetings, and global events, ensuring seamless coordination and experience, as well as high-impact executive communications.
Assist with coordination and alignment global and regional advancement efforts, serving as a central connector across geographically distributed teams (e.g., U.S. regions, Asia, MENA, Europe) to ensure consistency, communication, and progress toward shared goals as directed by the Chief Global Advancement Officer.
Manage executive meetings and operations, including preparing agendas, pre-reads, and briefing materials for 1:1s with the ASU Foundation CEO and senior university leadership; ensure clear documentation of decisions, action items, and follow-through.
Partner with central support functions (e.g. global corporate advancement, communications, operations, etc.) to advance cross-functional initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
Establish and maintain operational systems and workflows that improve efficiency, transparency, and consistency across global advancement activities.
Oversee and manage the Chief Global Advancement Officer’s external presence, including social media and select stakeholder engagement and communications, ensuring a high standard of quality control and alignment with institutional priorities and voice.

Advanced computer skills that include significant knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and donor fundraising databases
Accomplished oral and written communication skills, and effective presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
Ability to manage fiscal operations and resource development.
Relevant qualifications:Â
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and a minimum of two years of professional working experience in higher education and/or fundraising related experiences or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred qualifications:Â
Bilingual/multilingual; global/international experience.
Experience supporting C-suite or executive-level leaders.
