Amazon seeks a Program Manager I to join our Global Logistics Imports team. In this role, you'll lead strategic cross-functional programs that optimize our global supply chain operations. You'll leverage data analytics, project management expertise, and stakeholder management skills to drive operational excellence across our vendor and third-party partner networks.



Key job responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end program management for cross-functional customs initiatives, ensuring successful delivery against key metrics
- Develop and execute customs program strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs
- Lead data-driven process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budget tracking
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively
- Deliver regular status updates and presentations to senior leadership
- Establish and monitor KPIs for program performance
- Implement process improvements based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to optimize resource allocation

A day in the life
You'll start your day reviewing program metrics and addressing any operational challenges that arose overnight. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with teams across the globe, from tech and customs partners to logistics providers. You'll lead project meetings, analyze performance data, and work on process improvements. You might develop a new reporting dashboard, strategize with stakeholders on program enhancements, or create executive presentations highlighting program achievements and opportunities.

Global Logistics Imports is dedicated to optimizing speed and cost in the movement of freight from global manufacturing hubs to Amazon's international marketplaces. We serve both Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) sellers and retail direct import vendors. Our team leverages logistics providers and internal Amazon supply chain solutions to increase selection and lower costs for our customers. - 1+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience in Trade Compliance and/or Supply Chain industry, i.e. as customs agent/officer, compliance specialist, or customs operations
- 1+ Year Logistics or Carrier Management Experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
