Job Description

Responsible for supporting business objectives through proactively sourcing, assessing, and recruiting top talent for positions, with limited assistance from outside agencies. Identifies candidates using a variety of sources and techniques while knowing the best channels to find and reach candidates in diverse talent pools. Drives recruiting process in a timely and cost effective manner. Demonstrates a proven commitment to provide a diverse talent pool, a positive experience for the hiring manager and candidate. Preferred Skills/Experience - Basic knowledge of talent acquisition processes including sourcing and selection of a broad, diverse population of applicants - Excellent customer service skills - Strong project management skills - Basic marketing and recruitment network skills - Ability to review and understand data, trends and metrics - Strong presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously - Intermediate computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications and applicant tracking systems

 

Responsible for supporting business objectives through proactively sourcing, assessing, and recruiting top talent for high-volume roles within Banking Operations. This role partners closely with hiring managers and recruiting team members to deliver an efficient, scalable hiring process that meets business demands while maintaining a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.

The Recruiter operates in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, balancing multiple requisitions and priorities while ensuring alignment with business timelines, compliance requirements, and workforce strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively source, assess, and recruit candidates for high-volume Banking Operations roles

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting across multiple requisitions simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and recruiting team members to align on hiring strategies, workload distribution, and process efficiencies

  • Identify and leverage diverse sourcing strategies to build strong and inclusive candidate pipelines

  • Drive an efficient, streamlined hiring process that meets business needs while maintaining quality and compliance standards

  • Utilize data, metrics, and market insights to inform recruiting strategies and improve outcomes

  • Ensure a positive, high-touch candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to continuously improve recruiting processes and operational effectiveness

 

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Two or more years of recruiting experience or combination of related sales, marketing, or Human Resources experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience recruiting in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, preferably supporting banking or operations roles

  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously

  • Strong collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work as a team player and contribute to shared team goals

  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); Workday experience strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

  • Ability to analyze data, trends, and recruiting metrics to drive decision-making

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong stakeholder management capability

  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering a diverse candidate slate and inclusive hiring practices

  • Experience supporting banking, financial services, or operations recruiting

  • Familiarity with high-volume hiring models (e.g., evergreen requisitions, pipeline hiring)

  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot or similar technologies) to enhance sourcing, communication, or process efficiency

  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates

This role offers a hybrid schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $66,640.00 - $78,400.00
