SUMMARYĀ Ā 

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler II with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.Ā  The Senior Scheduling Engineer will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities.Ā

RESPONSIBILITIESĀ 

  • Work with site teams and trade partners to develop project schedules using CPM scheduling programsĀ 

  • Support supervision by monitoring and updating project schedulesĀ 

  • Assist site management in formulating mitigation plans for scheduling problemsĀ 

  • Assist with proposals and pursuit schedules as neededĀ 

  • Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsĀ 

  • Perform other duties as assignedĀ

QUALIFICATIONSĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent fieldĀ 

  • Minimum of two years construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experienceĀ 

  • Experience as a project engineer is desirableĀ 

  • Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company softwareĀ 

  • Basic knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing, project management, contracts, and buyoutĀ 

  • Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in solving problemsĀ 

  • Basic plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skillsĀ 

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environmentĀ 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutionsĀ 

  • Results-oriented to ensure delivery of accurate, complete, and timely products and servicesĀ 

  • Active listening skills and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedbackĀ 

  • Ability to travel may be required based on operating groupĀ

The base pay range for this role is $89,500 MIN - $120,800 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Ā

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.Ā  This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.Ā
