As a Sr. Advanced Electro-Mechanical Hardware Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be integral in the design, analysis, and testing of electro-mechanical actuation systems used on defense and more electric aircraft. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle, from front-end requirements development to system verification and initial production.

You will report directly to our leadership team and you’ll work out of our Honeywell Aerospace location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the successful development and delivery of advanced electro-mechanical hardware systems that enhance performance and reliability in aerospace applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage project performance and execution
  • Develop and manage cost, schedule, and milestones
  • Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Develop and manage risk (threats/opportunities)
  • Maintain customer technical communication and relationships
  • Understand actuation technology
  • Develop and report metrics
  • Interface with hardware suppliers on technical matters
  • Perform technical problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Prepare technical documentation including test plans, procedures, and reports
  • Analyze test data results
  • Assess customer requirements documentation
  • Assess regulatory requirements
  • Validate designs through build and test execution
  • Support proposal development including estimation of resources and schedule
