SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develops comprehensive project plans, including timelines, and dependencies to guide projects from initiation to completion.
- Identifies necessary resource allocations or challenges to support project timelines
- Leads and coordinates cross functional efforts across teams to ensure alignment and effective project execution
- Identifies potential risks, develops mitigation strategies and proactively address issues to minimize project impact
- Communicates with stakeholders on status updates, key decisions, and potential roadblocks
- Track metrics against key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Communicates with customers internally and externally on new product introduction (NPI) project status
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve project management across multiple sites
- Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or 3 years related work experience in Semiconductor, Aerospace, Medical or Automotive industry in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Project management experience managing multiple projects across multiple sites as needed for business oiperations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB:
- Standing or Sitting for extended periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, or bending to the floor; use hands to handle or feel parts and materials; reach with hands and arms and overhead; and talk and/or hear instructions and equipment sounds.
- Occasionally sitting or standing
- Lifting and/or moving items up to 40 pounds.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to differentiate shades and color to identify coating defects.
- Near acuity or accommodation required for reading instrumentation and documentation, dial and digital gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of coating operations.
- Ability to handle delicate parts.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT OF THE JOB:
- Regularly exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts, ovens, and risk of burns.
- Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.
- High noise levels from operating machines.
- The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous materials commonly used in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses and shoes, gloves, ear plugs/covers, mask, cleanroom suit).
- Approximately 80/20 office and shop floor environment.
- Low noise levels in office environment.
- High noise levels while working near operating machines.
- Physical hazards while working near moving equipment and mechanical parts.
- Possible breathing of fumes, odors, dust, and mist.
