As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with teams to achieve operational excellence and innovation.  

 

You will report directly to our Sr Adv Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Tempe AZ location on an On-site, work schedule.

 

 

SUMMARY

 

  • Review and disposition of non-conforming materials from internal and external sources such as shop floor rejections, customer returns and vendor/supplier discrepancies
  • Leverage disposition data to identify trends and isolate actionable solutions to reduce defects, improve FPY or eliminate scrap.
  • Support root cause-corrective action investigation activities as necessary
  • Evaluate moderately complex manufacturing processes by conducting process analysis, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials while
  • Solicit observations from operators/production technicians to discover and document hidden factory and prepare written or graphical work instructions for the communication of manufacturing requirements to production personnel
  • Support NPI and determine the methods and sequences of manufacturing operations for moderately complex products, machine parts and assemblies; ensure that products and processes meet customer quality requirements
  • Understand capacity and capabilities for area or cell of ownership and be able to speak to opportunities to reduce bottlenecks, increasing throughputs with engineering solutions
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Presents findings and underlying rationale to team, supplier, or customer
  • Contributes to team efforts and objectives by accomplishing metric moving activities as needed. Work assignments may include cross-functional (e.g. quality, design, or test engineering) or project team responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets
