YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

TheProcurement Analystisresponsibleforthepurchaseofgeneralmaterialandconstructionsupplies as assigned. The Procurement Analyst willissuepurchaseorders,releasingmaterialfromexistingpurchaseorders,andexpeditematerial and supplies. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Receivesandreviewsfieldrequisitionsforcompletenessandaccuracy;conferringwithrequestorwhen clarification is required. 

  • Releasesmaterialfrompre‐negotiatedblanketpurchaseorders,maintainingtrackinglogsof released material and quantities released. 

  • Securesvendorquotationsonrequisitions. 

  • Processesrequisitionsforpurchase. 

  • PreparesbidinvitationsforRFQ/ RFP. 

  • Performslevelingofvendor quotations. 

  • Assistingeneratingsubmittalinformationforrequestedcommodities,suppliesor equipment working with requesting department to identify needs. 

  • IssuechangeordersasrequiredinaccordancewithrevisedBOM’s. 

  • Expediteandensuretimelydeliveryandbackorders,follow‐uptomaintainoptimumfieldproduction. 

  • Handlereturnmaterialtoensureproperandtimelycreditto theproject. 

  • Reviewandapproveinvoices.InterfacewithvendorandA/Ptoresolveinvoiceproblems. 

  • Performadditionalduties asdirectedbySeniorPurchasingAgentorDivisionManager. 

  • Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesareintendedtodescribethegeneralnatureandscopeofworkbeing performedbythisposition.Thisisnotacompletelistingandotherdutieswillbeassignedbasedon the position’s role within the business unit. 

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

  • Highschooldiplomaorequivalent 

  • Minimum2yearsinpurchasingorrelatedfieldintheelectricalindustry

  • Canbeacombinationofeducation,training,andrelevantexperience  

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Skillinbothverbalandwritten communication 

  • ProficientinusingacomputerandMicrosoftOffice(Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.);Oraclepreferred 

  • Prioritizeandmanagemultipletasks,changingprioritiesasnecessary 

  • Workunderpressureandadapttochangingrequirementswithapositiveattitude 

  • Oralandwrittencommunicationskillsasrequiredfortheposition 

  • Self‐motivated,proactiveandaneffectiveteamplayer 

  • Interacteffectivelyandprofessionallywithalllevelsofemployees,bothmanagement andstaff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Generalworkenvironment-sittingforextended periods, standing,walking,typing,carrying,pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. 

  • Noiselevelistypically lowtomedium;it canbeloudonajob site. 

  • Occasionalliftingofupto30lbs.
