Overview
Responsible for moving trailers from the dock doors to the yard and from the yard to the dock doors. Must be flexible because may be asked to assist other departments when not moving trailers.
Responsibilities
Moves trailers from dock doors to the yard.
Moves trailers from yard to dock doors.
Unloads trailers as needed.
Responsible for filling out fuel and weight tickets.
Responsible for minor maintenance on trucks (check oil, water, anti‑freeze, or bleeding breaks).
Must communicate with shipping department to organize which trailers are being scheduled for daily shipment.
Assists in other departments when trailers are not being moved.
*Maintains regular attendance.
*Ability to work mandatory over time.
Performs other duties as requested by Management.
Responsible for producing a high quality product.
Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.

Qualifications
READING REQUIREMENTS, Basic Reading; MATHEMATICAL SKILLS, Basic Math (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying); COMPUTER SKILLS, Basic Computer Skills; REASONING SKILLS, Ability to evaluate; MECHANICAL SKILLS, Hand Tools, Understands mechanics of truck and able to diagnose problems; COMMUNICATION SKILLS, Ability to communicate with Co‑workers; OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS, Class "B" Commerical Drivers License with endorsements for air brakes and Hazmat
