It is located roughly halfway between Dallas and Austin. Temple is known for its rich history, vibrant railroad heritage, and its position as a key medical hub in Central Texas. It has lots to offer such as many beautiful parks, museums and fun activities for the whole family such as Lions Junction Family Water Park. Many of their museums highlight the Czech community in Central Texas, offering exhibits about Czech traditions, immigration, and art.  The city is home to the Scott & White Medical Center, one of the largest and most comprehensive medical facilities in the state. Overall, Temple is known for its historical significance, cultural richness, healthcare, and outdoor opportunities.  QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS NEEDED  MD or DO degree from accredited medical school program.  Board eligible or Board certification required.  Current license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.  Current DEA & DPS license. Current BLS certification    SKILLS   Provision of clinical healthcare services for clients in an ambulatory clinic setting.  Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred, though not required.  Participation in quality improvement programs    REPORTS TO:  Chief Medical Officer
