As part of SeAH Group’s $150M U.S. greenfield investment, we’re shaping the future of advanced manufacturing and establishing strong partnerships with industry leaders, suppliers, and communities. 

 

Position Summary 

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations in a startup environment focused on precision metals production. This hands-on leadership role involves driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) targets while mentoring frontline employees and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings and brings proven supervisory experience from metals, machining, or advanced manufacturing environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Shift Management: 
  • Supervise and coordinate all production floor activities to meet daily output goals. 
  • Provide clear direction and hands-on support to team leads and operators. 
  • Monitor productivity, identify inefficiencies, and adjust workflows in real time. 

 

  • Safety, Quality & Compliance: 
  • Enforce all safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company protocols. 
  • Conduct routine inspections to uphold housekeeping and operational standards. 
  • Partner with Quality to resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions. 

 

  • Team Leadership & Development: 
  • Train, coach, and mentor production staff to build skills and promote accountability. 
  • Conduct performance evaluations and coordinate cross-training efforts. 
  • Lead by example to reinforce a positive, safety-first culture. 

 

  • Process & Continuous Improvement: 
  • Support process improvements through lean tools and root cause analysis. 
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance on troubleshooting and uptime initiatives. 
  • Recommend workflow improvements, tooling upgrades, or layout changes to improve throughput. 

 

  • Reporting & Communication: 
  • Maintain shift logs, production tracking, and incident reports. 
  • Communicate shift updates, KPIs, and goals to team members and leadership. 
  • Attend and contribute to daily production meetings. 

 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing, preferably metals or machining. 
  • Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflicts, and manage production demands under pressure. 
  • Solid knowledge of safety protocols, quality systems, and manufacturing equipment. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software tools. 
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or Six Sigma preferred.
