Responsible for completing the cleaning and sanitation of production machinery, process equipment, and buildings in adherence to the strictest standards of health, safety and hygiene.Ā
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday | 7:00pm - 5:30am
Responsibilities:
⢠  Ensure that all cleaning schedules and tasks are completed on time and maintained according to company standard operating procedures.
⢠  Use only appropriately approved chemicals safely to clean equipment
⢠  Ensure that all cleaning and sanitization equipment is used correctly and only on designated areas.
⢠  Cleaning work to encompass sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing machinery and filling equipment, cleaning of conveyors, warmers, surface areas and other areas deemed appropriate.
⢠  Pest-control procedures.
⢠  Inspects premises for unsanitary practices and conditions.
⢠  Work with management and production personnel on sanitation problems, and recommend changes in equipment, plant layout, lighting, ventilation, or work practices to improve sanitation standards and purity of product.
⢠  Complete required paperwork and reports regarding regular inspections, sanitation violations, and steps taken to resolve deficiencies. Routes reports to designated plant personnel.
⢠  Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
⢠  The Sanitation Operator will follow the facilities food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results.
Job Requirements:
⢠  Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
⢠  Strong analytical skills
⢠  Ability to read, write and keep records
⢠  Good computer skills including literacy with Excel and Word.
⢠  Ability to work weekends and off-production hours.
Physical Requirements:
⢠  Ability to ābe on your feetā from beginning to end of shiftĀ
⢠  Able to lift materials up to 50 pounds.
