SUMMARY: Compiles data pertinent to manufacture of special products for customers by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following (other duties may be assigned):
路 Reads correspondence from customers to determine needs of customer not met by standard products.
路 Confers with Engineering Department to ascertain feasibility of designing special equipment.
路 Confers with production personnel to determine feasibility and to obtain estimate of cost and production time.
路 Corresponds with customer to inform of production progress and costs.
路 Travels occasionally throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talks with customers for orders obtained.
路 Manages customer stock inventory programs.
路 Confers date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm鈥檚 production and delivery schedules.
路 Creates customer specific parts based on requirements of customer.
Requirements
聽聽EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate鈥檚 Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
