What You’ll DoAs an Ancillary Manager, you’ll oversee the operation, maintenance, planning, and scheduling of all ancillary and auxiliary equipment supporting plant operations. You’ll work closely with maintenance teams, facility leadership, and operations personnel to improve equipment reliability, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure safe and efficient plant performance.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee operation and maintenance activities for all ancillary and auxiliary systemsÂ
- Review, prioritize, and plan non-emergency maintenance work ordersÂ
- Develop integrated maintenance schedules for preventive maintenance and repair activitiesÂ
- Coordinate labor, tools, equipment, materials, and contractor support for maintenance workÂ
- Ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are available to respond to emergency situationsÂ
- Work with Facility Managers to prioritize maintenance activities and allocate resources effectivelyÂ
- Monitor maintenance work completion and ensure accurate documentation of completed work ordersÂ
- Conduct post-job reviews and support continuous improvement of maintenance programsÂ
- Support equipment reliability initiatives and recommend improvements to maintenance and inventory practicesÂ
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and waste-handling proceduresÂ
- Lead and support continuous training initiatives for ancillary operators and maintenance personnelÂ
- Promote Lean manufacturing practices including 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activitiesÂ
- Maintain safe operations and enforce company safety procedures and regulations
Requirements
What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a hands-on maintenance and operations leader with strong technical knowledge, planning skills, and experience supporting industrial plant operations.Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)Â
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant maintenance, facilities, or industrial operations experienceÂ
- Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning softwareÂ
- Strong understanding of industrial utility and ancillary systemsÂ
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate cross-functional maintenance activitiesÂ
- Strong communication and leadership skillsÂ
- Ability to respond to operational needs in a 24/7 manufacturing environmentÂ
Preferred Qualifications
- Facilities Operating Engineer License preferredÂ
- Experience supporting large-scale manufacturing or industrial facilitiesÂ
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiativesÂ
- Experience leading maintenance or facilities teams in a manufacturing environmentÂ
Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday, day shift. Additional hours and on-call support may be required based on operational and maintenance needs.
