Position Description:
The CNC Operator in our Deflector Cell works with smelted metals from kettles and ensures the product meets customer specifications. This is a perfect entry level position for someone interested in the manufacturing industry. The work week is Monday – Thursday working 10-hour shifts; includes a 20% shift differential.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work with smelted metals from kettles
- Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations
- Inspect completed parts
- Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staff
- Other duties as directed by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Motived and willing to learn the manufacturing industry
- Good verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Able to stand on feet all day
