The Delivery Technician delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) in patient homes. You will educate patients on basic equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high‑quality customer service.Â

$17.64–$18.86 per hourÂ

What You’ll DoÂ
Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment ranging from 10 lbs – 160 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setupsÂ
Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homesÂ
Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment useÂ
Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needsÂ
Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicleÂ
Respond to emergency delivery requests when neededÂ
Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accuratelyÂ
Maintain supply components in patient profilesÂ
Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairsÂ
Perform routine vehicle checksÂ
Support additional duties as assignedÂ
RequiredÂ
Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily deliveries and set-upsÂ
High school diploma or equivalentÂ
At least one-year of related work experience is requiredÂ
21 years of age or olderÂ
Valid driver’s licenseÂ
Completion of Apria’s Driver Training ProgramÂ
English reading, writing, and speaking skillsÂ
