What You’ll DoAs a Maintenance Technician, you’ll support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of plant equipment. Depending on your experience level, you may assist with routine maintenance tasks or take a lead role in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across the plantÂ
- Observe equipment in operation to identify issues and determine corrective actionsÂ
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and componentsÂ
- Perform routine inspections and plant walk-throughs to monitor equipment conditionÂ
- Support equipment setup, changeovers, and preventive maintenance activitiesÂ
- Adjust and test equipment to ensure proper performanceÂ
- Operate tools and equipment to fabricate or repair parts as neededÂ
- Maintain accurate documentation, work orders, and material requisitionsÂ
- Support scheduled maintenance shutdowns and planned work activitiesÂ
- Monitor spare parts usage and maintain organized equipment documentationÂ
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to resolve equipment issuesÂ
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentÂ
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout requirementsÂ
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as 5S and Kaizen
Requirements
What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking mechanically inclined individuals with strong troubleshooting skills who are motivated to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing maintenance team.
Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) or more years of maintenance or related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentÂ
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment troubleshootingÂ
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, and proceduresÂ
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailÂ
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamÂ
- Strong communication and organizational skillsÂ
Preferred Qualifications (Advanced / Level 3 Candidates)
- Associate’s degree or technical certification, or equivalent experienceÂ
- Three (3) or more years of maintenance experience in an industrial environmentÂ
- Experience with advanced troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systemsÂ
- Knowledge of plant equipment startups, shutdowns, and failure recoveryÂ
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability practicesÂ
- Electrical or mechanical certifications and trainingÂ
- Ability to support the training and development of other maintenance personnelÂ
Your Work Schedule
- This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Flexibility is required to support maintenance coverage and scheduled shutdowns.
