Incoming, process, quarantine, customer service to assurance to reach the company objectives through their experience on the administration of the product, process and personal, interacting with internal and corporate management team and costumers relations.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, send, and file lab certification sheets for customers
  • Enter lab data into database daily and coordinate lab files
  • Work with production keeping abreast of daily foam results and customer cert sheet needs
  • Coordinate, prepare, and ship lab samples to customers
  • Create spreadsheets of lab results to analyze lab data
  • Conducts all physical testing on foam in the lab for example: Density, ILD, Tensile, Tear, Elongation, etc.
  • Schedule sample cuts and cut on Bandsaw for various tests
  • Send certification sheets to appropriate customers
  • Run analysis on unknown foams for sales quotations
  • Conduct and help maintain MSA studies
  • Maintain Lab integrity in terms of cleanliness and other specific requirements
  • Prepare and maintain lab equipment
  • Communications with supervisor when non-conforming product.
  • Stops production to correct quality problems.
  • Environmental aspect and impact awareness.
  • Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions process
  • Authority to stop shipment, stop production to correct quality problems

 

Training Required:

Training Plan assigned by his Manager

 

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of fraction/decimal conversions & metric system and basic math
  • Read tape measure to 16ths; calculate simple formulas
  • Carry foam weighing up to 25 pounds
  • ·Push/pull carts weighing up to 400 pounds
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Communicate orally in English and legibly and effectively in writing
  • Prior manufacturing experience
