Welder

Job Summary:

The welder fabricates, assembles, and welds metal/steel components. Inspect welds to ensure quality standards are met. Support a Team approach and complete other duties as assigned.

Essential Responsibilities
 

• Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Setting and/or adjusting settings of welding equipment.
• Align components using tape measure and screws them in place.
• Weld components using welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Inspect welds for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Use of power hand tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
 

• +1 year of welding equipment knowledge and experience is preferred. 
• Able to read a measuring tape.
• Able to read and write.

Safety Requirements

• Cut resistant gloves.
• Safety glasses.
• Welding Shield.
• Steel toe boots.
• Welding jacket.

Environment

• Non-Climate Control.
• Fast-paced environment.
