About the Role:

Furniture Mart in Gretna, LA is looking for a dependable and customer-friendly Non-CDL Furniture Delivery Driver to join our growing team! In this role, you'll be the face of our brand — delivering quality furniture and exceptional service right to our customers' doors. Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to residential and commercial customers in the Gretna, LA area
Unload, assemble and place furniture in customer homes with care
Inspect deliveries for damage before and after transport and document any issues
Communicate professionally with customers during delivery, ensuring a positive experience
Follow daily delivery routes and schedules efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of delivery vehicle

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (No CDL required)
Prior delivery, moving, or logistics experience preferred
Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture (50–100+ lbs) with a team partner
Strong customer service and communication skills
Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented work ethic
Ability to navigate local routes using GPS or delivery apps
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
