Join the team at Wamesit Lanes as a Bartender, where you'll do more than just pour drinks—you’ll be a key part of creating the energy, fun, and hospitality that keeps guests coming back. Whether you’re mixing drinks in Firewater Tavern, working a private event, or serving up smiles during bowling league nights, your role is vital to our guest experience. What You’ll Do: Deliver outstanding guest service with enthusiasm, professionalism, and personality. Prepare and serve beverages efficiently and accurately according to standardized recipes and timing expectations. Be knowledgeable about our craft beer selection, wines, and liquors—and able to confidently guide guests through their options. Check IDs to ensure responsible alcohol service and maintain a safe environment by recognizing and reporting any concerning behavior. Handle guest questions regarding drinks, food, allergies, availability, and Wamesit Lanes policies with confidence and clarity. Maintain a clean, well-stocked bar, restocking supplies as needed and completing all opening and closing side work. Assist Bar back when necessary with tapping kegs and monitoring par levels. Stay aware of what’s happening across the entire venue to help ensure seamless service during high-volume times and events. Participate in corporate and private events as needed. Follow through with any additional tasks assigned by management. Qualifications Previous Bartending experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you enjoy interacting with people! Must be able to multi-task and manage priorities effectively during busy shifts. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable, punctual, and committed to being part of a team. Knowledge of food allergies and safe food handling practices (we’ll train you if needed). Comfortable standing and walking for long periods, and lifting up to 25 lbs. Familiarity with POS systems. A genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences—every time.
