We are seeking an electrical engineer to broaden their existing skillsets into the integration and validation of a mixed digital, power and control, RF/microwave, and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs). This includes subsystem validation, integration and test, and transition to production of advanced receiver and exciter hardware and firmware utilized in complex AESAs.

The successful candidate will be onboarded in one technical discipline, expanding hardware knowledge at the CCA then module level, then rotating to another module or into a phased array integration activity. The candidate will train new skills through hands-on programs which will provide the onboarding required to become a key member of the LTAMDS Phased Array Product team.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for designing phased array antenna systems including active and passive microwave components and a variety of analog to digital RF subassemblies

  • Develop power and control electronics that interface with system command and control software

  • Develop new technologies for advanced capabilities and provide support to all life-cycle phases of the best radar systems in active worldwide deployments and grow our people with exciting new challenges, on-the-job training, mentoring and purposeful rotations

  • Initial experience will be gained on one of 10 Phased Array LRUs

  • Provide Engineering support module builds and test and any associated performance validation or investigations

  • Train on Phased Array Pilot Array and develop Near Field Range phase array integration skills
