Job DetailsJob Location: Cornerstone in Texarkana - Texarkana, TX 75503Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love, does so with eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. Affiliated with MRC and located in Texarkana, Cornerstone Retirement Community, is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and home health.   Cornerstone is Texarkana's only 5 STAR Community and is proud to be officially certified in the Eden Alternative Registry, which honors those organizations deeply committed to transforming traditional models of care into person-directed approaches that put the individual first.  Hours: Day shift 6:00am-6:00pm & Night shift 6:00pm-6:00am ($2 Shift Diff) We are currently seeking PRN LVN’s to: direct and coordinate activities of CNAs perform basic daily nursing functions issue proper medications meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner- while maintaining high standards and quality care Required Education/Certification/Licensure: Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing and current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required.   Worker Traits: Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative   Training and Experience: Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing desired.   Job Knowledge: Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons.
