The Quality Specialist Entry supports manufacturing process and product quality by learning and applying Goodyear standards, procedures, and quality systems in partnership with experienced team members. What You Will Do

  • Learn and apply Goodyear quality standards, procedures, and technical solutions to support manufacturing process and product quality.

  • Monitor and report process performance indicators while supporting quality improvement and plant optimization initiatives.

  • Assist in maintaining product and process technical specifications to ensure compliance with established requirements.

  • Support audits, root-cause analysis activities, and corrective action implementation to improve quality performance.

  • Apply standard problem-solving tools and data analysis techniques to address defined business and process challenges.

  • Participate in team projects and cross-functional activities while learning project management tools and quality system processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.

  • Degree with years of experience, 5 years equivalent experience w/o degree. (Degree at management discretion based on position.)

  • Demonstrated ability to apply systematic problem solving tools and techniques.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and troubleshoot equipment and process problems.

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude. Actively participate in meetings, in a supporting role. Initiate open dialogue with peers and leadership on areas of concern.

  • Select best means of communication. Provide compelling technical direction and logical conclusions within the function, both written and oral.
