Animal Caretaker - Finisher Farm

Responsible for washing, cleaning, and disinfecting finisher farm facilities in accordance with company schedules and biosecurity standards. Maintains a clean and sanitary environment by following established procedures and safely operating pressure washing equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in all daily operations related to the care and feeding of animals
• Ensure the welfare and well-being of the animals at all times
• Maintain adequate feed and supplies, adhering to standards for feeding and watering
• Identify and correct any problem areas promptly or report them to the supervisor
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure understanding of standards and protocols
• Maintain thorough record-keeping tools for animal management and complete reports on time
• Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring a safe and correct environment within barns
• Collaborate with team members to promote a supportive working environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager

Special Job Requirements:

• Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary

ADA Requirements:

Ability to walk, stoop, bend, climb, perform repetitive motions, see and distinguish colors, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
