We're looking for a Commercial Tire Technician I to join our team and provide tire service for passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, and trailers. Whether you're working in the shop or responding to roadside service calls, you'll play an important role in helping our customers stay safe and keep their vehicles on the road.

What You'll Do


Commercial Tire Service

? Mount, dismount, repair, and replace tires on passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, and trailers.

? Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.

? Repair punctures and perform approved tire repairs.

? Rotate tires to maximize tread life and improve vehicle performance.

? Understand tire sizing, tread patterns, wheel configurations, valve stems, and commercial tire applications.

? Balance tires using conventional balancing equipment and commercial balancing methods.


Mobile Road Service

? Respond to roadside service calls at customer locations, including highways, construction sites, industrial facilities, and commercial fleets.

? Safely operate a company-issued commercial service truck.

? Maintain communication with dispatch or the service coordinator throughout each service call.

? Complete accurate documentation for all work performed.


Equipment & Safety

? Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service truck.

? Inspect and maintain tools, tire equipment, and mobile service equipment.

? Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

? Deliver professional, courteous customer service during every customer interaction.


Requirements

Requirements:


? Previous commercial tire, automotive, mechanical, or related service experience preferred.

? Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

? Ability to safely operate a commercial service truck.

? Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

? Basic computer skills and experience using service or point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.

? Strong communication and customer service skills.

? Ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls.

? Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

? Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.


Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds, work in both indoor and outdoor environments, and safely operate commercial tire service equipment, hydraulic lifts, service trucks, and other shop equipment. The ability to perform physically demanding work while following all safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential.
