Job Description

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in The Dalles, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter zones, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, following visitor processing procedures, and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, following escalation procedures, and assisting with security-related requests from site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
