Description

The Gunsmith Technician (Gun Tech) is accountable for the seamless execution of all Shooters World Gunsmith Department processes and policies; performing basic firearm maintenance and additions.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver the World’s Greatest Firearm Experience
  • Perform the routine and exceptional maintenance of all Range firearms
  • Ensure consistent and quality work product in a timely manner
  • Effectively diagnosis issues with customer and store firearms
  • Assist the Gunsmith with advanced services as directed
  • Answer e-mail, social media, and voicemail inquiries regarding services
  • Safely handle all firearms when checking into or out of gunsmithing as well as test firing
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Education Requirements

  • 1+ Year(s) of prior gunsmithing experience
  • Sound knowledge of function and maintenance of various firearm platforms
  • Customer satisfaction orientation
  • Ability to maintain quality as mandated by Gunsmith
  • Proven ability to work within established processes
  • Functional proficiency with computer programs and systems
  • Be an individual who is driven, confident, and flexible
  • Must pass drug test, background check and any pre-employment tests if applicable
