Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Appointment Scheduler, you will be the crucial first point of contact, connecting our patients with the expert care they need, playing a pivotal role in their healthcare journey.Every day, you will expertly manage patient schedules, clarify instructions, and leverage technology to ensure seamless care coordination, all while offering compassionate support to diverse patient populations.To be successful in this role, you will combine strong clinical understanding with exceptional technological proficiency, a deep commitment to patient well-being, and an adaptable spirit keen on learning and collaboration.

  • Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
  • Conduct patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.
  • Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments.
  • Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests
  • Collect insurance information and patient personal data.
  • May collect fees such as co-pays / co-insurance.

  • High School GED General Studies, upon hire or
  • High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire and
  • None, upon hire

Preferred

  • 2 years related experience in a healthcare environment
