We’re building an amazing team for a Contemporary Mexican Restaurant located in The Woodlands, Texas. We are looking for an experienced Barista with a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Job Description

A The Woodlands-based Contemporary Mexican Restaurant is hiring a passionate Barista to join our Front of House team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for preparing high-quality beverages while providing outstanding guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks.
Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to every guest.
Take beverage orders accurately and answer guest questions about coffee, beverages, and menu items.
Maintain knowledge of coffee products, ingredients, preparation methods, and menu offerings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked barista station throughout the shift.
Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
Monitor inventory and communicate product or supply needs to management.
Work closely with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Maintain professionalism, speed, and attention to detail during high-volume periods.
Create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

What You Bring / Lo Que Tú Aportas

Previous Barista experience, ideally in a restaurant, café, coffee shop, or other high-volume hospitality environment.
Knowledge of espresso-based beverages and basic coffee preparation techniques.
Bilingual English/Spanish - ¡Hablamos tu idioma!
Passion for coffee, hospitality, and providing exceptional guest experiences.
Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to beverage quality and presentation.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
