About the Role:
Streamline Industrial Group is seeking a detail-oriented estimator with experience preparing accurate estimates and bids for industrial and electrical construction projects. This individual will play a critical role in developing competitive, accurate and strategic cost estimates. The estimator will be working closely with project managers and management throughout the preconstruction phase.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed project estimates and cost proposals for industrial and commercial electrical construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to assess project scope, site conditions, and risks.
- Review of drawings, specifications, scopes of work and bid documents.
- Perform material, labor and equipment takeoffs.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
- Identify project risks, exclusions and potential cost impacts.
- Work closely with Project Management and Operations.
- Meet bid deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience estimating industrial and/or electrical construction projects.
- Strong understanding of NEC codes, instrumentation standards, and industrial construction practices
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting E&I drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software (McCormick preferred); and other construction software tools like Bluebeam, etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
