SummaryĀ 

The position ofĀ MOTĀ ManagerĀ will coordinate all traffic control activities for the project.Ā 

Ā 

ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Oversee all Traffic Control operations and personnel.Ā 

  • Ensure safety and compliance with the Traffic Management plan in all Traffic Control operations.Ā 

  • Develop a Traffic Management Plan developed in conjunction with project Construction Managers.Ā 

  • Implement, manage, andĀ maintainĀ Traffic Control Field operations compliant with the Traffic Management Plan.Ā 

  • Coordinate with construction management to ensureĀ timelyĀ traffic control operations in support of construction activities.Ā 

  • Communicate traffic operations with PR and other applicable departments.Ā 

  • Provide limited supervision to others through motivation, direction,Ā reviewĀ and feedback of assigned tasks.Ā 

  • Ensure all responsibilities of Segment Traffic Control Coordinator(s) and Traffic Control Assistant(s) are carried out and performed in consistent compliance with the Traffic Management Plan.Ā 

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.Ā 

  • Provide leadership to others throughĀ exampleĀ andĀ sharing ofĀ knowledge/skill.Ā

MinimumĀ RequirementsĀ 

  • CertifiedĀ by Texas Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in ā€œWork ZoneĀ trafficĀ Controlā€.Ā 

  • Minimum ofĀ tenĀ (10) years of experience of progressive responsibility inĀ similar positions.Ā
