QualityĀ ControlĀ ManagerĀ 

SummaryĀ 

The position of QualityĀ ControlĀ Manager has the overall responsibility of developing, implementing, and managing the quality plan for the project.Ā Ā 

Ā 

ResponsibilitiesĀ 

  • Develop, implement, and manage the quality plan.Ā 

  • Oversee fieldĀ Quality Control.Ā 

  • Perform qualityĀ reportĀ and oversee the documentation of QA.Ā 

  • Ensure complianceĀ ofĀ the quality plan with Federal, State, Local, and other regulatory laws and standards.Ā Ā 

  • Ensure compliance with the quality plan.Ā 

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001.Ā Ā 

  • ProvideĀ records related toĀ theĀ quality system to document control.Ā 

  • DetermineĀ the disposition of all nonconformities and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Ā 

  • Attend meetings related with Quality issues.Ā 

  • Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.Ā 

  • Verify that the quality related site activities areĀ in accordance withĀ the applicable codes and standards.Ā 

  • Develop and implementĀ Training and Audit programs for QA/QCĀ internallyĀ as well as subcontractor quality systems.Ā 

  • Jointly,Ā with Construction and Procurement departments, review meetingsĀ of contractual specificationsĀ for all materials involved in the project.Ā 

  • Quality evaluation ofĀ sub-consultant,Ā subcontractorsĀ and materials prior to hiring and purchases.Ā 

Ā 

MinimumĀ RequirementsĀ 

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent is preferred.Ā 

  • Minimum ofĀ fiveĀ (5) years of experience of progressive responsibility inĀ qualityĀ controlĀ positions.Ā 

  • Hold a current Professional Engineer License, or the ability to obtain.Ā 

  • Experience on largeĀ highway,Ā bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor.Ā 

  • Applicable certifications in Quality and Construction.Ā Ā 

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.Ā Ā
