We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mixologist to join our upscale Mexican restaurant. This role is ideal
for a hospitality professional who views cocktail creation as an art form and understands that every drink should
complement an exceptional dining experience.

As our Mixologist, you will craft innovative cocktails inspired by Mexico's rich culinary heritage while showcasing
premium tequilas, mezcals, agave spirits, and fresh, authentic ingredients. Beyond preparing beverages, you will
engage guests with your knowledge, creativity, and genuine hospitality, helping create memorable experiences that
reflect the restaurant's elevated standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present handcrafted cocktails with exceptional attention to quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Develop signature cocktails inspired by authentic Mexican flavors, seasonal ingredients, and modern
    mixology techniques.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of tequila, mezcal, agave spirits, Mexican wines, and premium liquors.
  • Recommend cocktail pairings that enhance the restaurant's culinary offerings.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by engaging with guests in a warm, professional, and knowledgeable
    manner.
  • Maintain precise recipes and beverage standards to ensure consistency across every service.
  • Monitor bar inventory, assist with ordering, stock rotation, and minimize product waste.
  • Ensure the bar remains impeccably clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout each shift.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team to develop seasonal beverage menus and
    special promotions.
  • Maintain compliance with all TABC regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Support Front of House operations to ensure seamless service during both regular and high-volume periods.
  • Continuously research beverage trends and recommend innovative additions to enhance the guest
    experience.
What You Bring
  • Minimum 4 years of mixology or bartending experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant, or premium cocktail bar.
  • Strong expertise in tequila, mezcal, agave spirits, premium liquors, and contemporary cocktail techniques.
  • Passion for authentic Mexican culture, flavors, and hospitality.
  • Excellent knowledge of cocktail preparation, garnish presentation, and beverage pairing.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain composed and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Current TABC Certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing seasonal cocktail programs.
  • Knowledge of Mexican regional spirits, artisanal mezcals, and premium tequila brands.
  • Experience with inventory management and beverage cost control.
  • Certifications such as BarSmarts, WSET Spirits, Certified Specialist of Spirits (CSS), or equivalent are
    considered an asset.
