About the RoleÂ
We are seeking a skilled Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic Surety team in Houston, TX.
Â
Key Responsibilities IncludeÂ
Serve as primary client contact for day-to-day bonding questionsÂ
Build and promote strong relationships with business partners, carriers and all stakeholders vested in the processÂ
Quality control data in Epic, Erlon, and OneDrive including client data, surety contacts, bonds, rates, commissions Â
Communicate with clients and underwriters through the request process, including the provision of proper underwriting materialsÂ
Responds to accounting and invoice issues with appropriate adjustments/corrections within prescribed timelinesÂ
Oversee Account Associate work for accuracy and quality Â
Assist in creating proposals and presentations Â
Compile and/or approve complete and accurate submissions and deliver to underwriters; Provide timely responses to underwriter submission inquiries Â
Request and review client documents such as financial statements, work-in-progress, aging of receivables schedules Â
Conduct in-depth data analyses Â
Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting appetites and contacts and recommend appropriate markets for client programs Â

Skills & Experience That Lead to Success:Â
Strong technical property and casualty knowledgeÂ
Minimum of 5 years of industry experienceÂ
Proven ability to present and clearly explain information to clientsÂ
Proven ability to clearly explain problems/concerns to co-workers, supervisors and/or agency principals and suggest/recommend solutionsÂ
Data entry experience as well as excellent interpersonal skillsÂ
Competence in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and AdobeÂ
Task and detail orientedÂ
Team player with demonstrated professional communication and organizational skillsÂ
Additional/Preferred Qualifications:Â
High school diploma or equivalent; College degree preferredÂ
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredÂ
Ability to travel as requiredÂ
Construction brokerage experience preferred
Training and people management experience (2 to 3 direct reports) preferred
