The City of Thibodaux is accepting applications from current qualified employees from the City's Public Works Department for the position of Electrician. The deadline to apply for this position is Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 12:00 (noon).

Duties and Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and related equipment. For a complete detailed list of the duties and responsibilities please review the job description. 

Experience: Over one and up to and including three years.

Certifications: Valid driver's license. Successfully pass the City of Thibodaux Electrical Licensing Exam prior to the employee completing his/her working test period or National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Electrical Level I, II (If applicable) and Core Certifications.
